About Responsible Timber

Our aim is to provide mentoring and training to individuals who are unable to access gainful employment due to Physical or Mental difficulties by sourcing timber that would be sent to landfill and then using this to produce resalable items with profit being reinvested to grow the Company.

Having worked within the Timber Trade during my formative years and successfully managed a Timber Company. I have worked as a Bricklayer for a period of seven years working on small and large projects and Building Sites are one of the locations where we would source our materials from.

After the downturn of 2008 I worked within Mental Health Services as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and gained a Diploma in Health and Social care.

We provide a therapeutic environment where people who struggle with being able to gain full time employment, can access support to move forward with their aspirations.
